Go Behind the Scenes — Making “The Tears of Things” Trailer

How does artmaking represent prophetic wisdom? The trailer for “The Tears of Things” book features images of an artist’s hands preparing, shaping, and bringing a painting to life as a visual reflection of the book’s themes.

The featured artwork was created by Noé Barnett, an Albuquerque-based artist known for his striking murals across New Mexico and the Southwest. Immerse yourself in the art and symbolism of “The Tears of Things” on our website and YouTube channel, and learn more about Noé’s artistic process.
