Falling into Greater Wisdom in August’s We Conspire Series

What are your experiences of the second half of life? In “Falling Upward,” Center for Action and Contemplation (CAC) founder Richard Rohr writes: “Most of us tend to think of the second half of life as largely about getting old, dealing with health issues, and letting go of our physical life, but I simply don’t believe that’s all there is to it. What looks like falling can largely be experienced as falling upward and onward, into a broader and deeper world, where the soul finds its fullness, is finally connected to the whole, and lives inside the Big Picture.”
In August’s We Conspire articles, contributors share stories of challenge, regret, and loss that have ushered in an era of greater wisdom and spiritual integration. As you read, we invite you to reflect on your own story. What event, moment of wisdom, or experience marks your entrance into the “second half of life”?
