CAC Publishing is excited to announce that the Fall 2022 issue of ONEING is now available! ONEING: Nonviolence explores how nonviolent resistance can build a more just and loving world. For the first time ever, we’ve invited a guest curator, CAC friend and Nobel Peace Prize nominee John Dear, to select contributors and introduce this newest issue on peace and nonviolence. 

We’re called to practice nonviolence toward ourselves, toward every human, toward all creatures and Mother Earth, and to join and help build up the global grassroots nonviolence movement.

Many of the authors in this issue of ONEING have made major contributions in the collective effort to end violence, and all have been exposed to its ripple effects in one form or another. Although it’s harder to imagine a time of global peace and reconciliation in these challenging times, we can be inspired by the contributors to ONEING: Nonviolence, who have worked tirelessly to bring peace to our broken world. They are making and will continue to make a difference in bringing forth global reconciliation.

Established in 2013, ONEING is the biannual journal of the Center for Action and Contemplation. Renowned for its diverse and deep exploration of mysticism and culture, ONEING is grounded in Richard Rohr’s teachings and wisdom lineage. Each issue features a themed collection of thoughtfully curated essays and critical perspectives from spiritual teachers, activists, modern mystics, and prophets of all religions.
