Experience Christianity in New Ways | Season 3 Wrap-Up of Learning How to See
What if you could see Christianity from a new perspective?
Building off his work on biases in Seasons 1 and 2 and his book Do I Stay Christian?, Brian McLaren is back with the third season of Learning How to See, helping us to see Christianity in new ways from many perspectives. This season focuses on the themes underlying the first two parts of the book Do I Stay Christian?
“I cannot and will not stay Christian if it means perpetuating Christianity’s history and current trajectory. The only way I can stay Christian is to do so as part of a creative movement forging a new kind of Christianity.”
—Brian McLaren in Do I Stay Christian?

A Learning How to See Listener Story
It’s always an honor to hear from our CAC community members, who offer insights about how podcasts like Learning How to See impact their lives. While Season 3 was airing, we were touched to hear how the book Do I Stay Christian? impacted the life of a listener named Lora:
“Just reading the title of Brian McLaren’s book, Do I Stay Christian?, shocked me. Then, reading words that summed up my disappointments and disillusions brought tears to my eyes.
I used to judge people who would say, ‘I am more spiritual than religious.’ Now, I am one of those people. I will never turn away from God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, or the Eternal Christ, but I am not sure that I will ever be able to go back to church or identify as a ‘Christian.’
If not for the Center for Action and Contemplation, I am not sure where I would be — probably completely lost, adrift in this world without an anchor. Through the Daily Meditations, newsletters, online courses, books, and podcasts, I now have an anchor that gets stronger daily.”
