Creation

From Screen to World
Tuesday, January 27, 2015

A couple times a year we reach out to Daily Meditation readers with a simple request. Please take a few minutes to read about our need and how you can help! Thanks to the support of thousands, the Daily Meditations will continue tomorrow (with more on Creation), the day after that, and the day after that….

A team of dedicated staff at the Center for Action and Contemplation tirelessly helps me put together these messages for over 130,000 people around the world. The generosity of many makes it possible for us to continue offering this gift of love, day after day!

The cost of technology and time is substantial, but it’s worth it to us! We hear on a daily basis how much these meditations mean, what a difference they’re making.

If the Daily Meditations are a blessing to you as well, please consider making a donation. You can donate securely online at cac.org/dm-appeal or mail a check to the address at the bottom of this email. Your tax-deductible gift supports contemplative teaching through CAC’s programs.

Whether or not you’re able to make a donation, help us spread the love by sharing the Daily Meditations and inviting others to receive the messages for themselves. There are several ways to engage:

And pray with us—that these words always point to the Wordless Reality behind them, the mystery of Love that is at the core of each message. We hope that the Daily Meditations and all of CAC’s programs draw people away from their glowing screens and out into the living, pulsing world to live lives of compassionate presence.

Peace and Every Good,

P.S. Thank you for responding to our request! Please take another moment to make a donation securely online, write a check, share a meditation with someone else, or hold us in prayer.

Radical Resilience

We live in a world on fire. This year the Daily Meditations will explore contemplation as a way to build Radical Resilience so we can stand in solidarity with the world without burning up or burning out. The path ahead may be challenging, but we can walk it together.

Our theme this year is Radical Resilience. How do we tend our inner flame so we can stand in solidarity with the world without burning up or out? Meditations are emailed every day of the week, including the Weekly Summary on Saturday. Each week builds on previous topics, but you can join at any time.
In a world of fault lines and fractures, how do we expand our sense of self to include love, healing, and forgiveness—not just for ourselves or those like us, but for all? This monthly email features wisdom and stories from the emerging Christian contemplative movement. Join spiritual seekers from around the world and discover your place in the Great Story Line connecting us all in the One Great Life. Conspirare. Breathe with us.
