Email Subscription FAQs

You can learn more about the different email subscriptions available on the email sign-up page.

You can sign-up to receive our emails on the email sign-up page. Simply fill out the form and select which email subscriptions you would like to receive.

You can explore past meditations in our online archive on our website. Some Daily Meditations are also available in print: Yes, And (2013), A Spring Within Us (2014), Essential Teachings on Love (2016).

You can change your email settings at any time in the Email Preference Center, which you can access by clicking the Preference Center link at the bottom of any email. To completely unsubscribe from all CAC emails, simply click the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any email.

First, check your junk or spam mail folder. If you see them make sure and mark them “not junk.” If you use Gmail, try checking some of the other tabs like the Promotions tab (learn more about Gmail’s inbox categories and tabs). If you previously received our emails you may have accidentally been unsubscribed. Check your subscription status by clicking the Preference Center link at the bottom of any email. We also recommend adding the following email addresses to your address book (or whitelist): Please allow at least 24 hours for the above methods to go into effect. If you are still experiencing issues, please contact our support team at [email protected].

  • At the bottom of each email, use the “Like” button to show your friends on Facebook that you’ve liked this message. Use the “Tweet” button to share a short message and a link to the email. Use the “Forward” button to send an email. At this time, sharing the message to Facebook is not an option.
  • Find the meditation you’d like to share in the online archive. Once you’re on the page you want to share, use the icons at the far left of the screen to post on Facebook or Twitter or to send an email.

You are welcome to forward the meditations to a few friends!

Make sure you use the “Forward to a Friend” button near the bottom of the email or the “Forward” button in the footer of the email.

Then enter the recipient’s name and address. You can add multiple recipients by clicking the + symbol. Following these steps (rather than forwarding as you might typically do) ensures that recipients won’t be able to accidentally unsubscribe you from CAC’s messages.

If you want to share the Daily Meditations with more than a handful of friends (for example, your church or school), please invite them to subscribe at, to explore the online archive, or to follow CAC on Facebook and Twitter. We suggest that you copy and paste a short excerpt from the meditation and include your personal invitation to sign up for Richard Rohr’s free daily or weekly emails.

Unless otherwise stated, Richard Rohr uses his own translation and/or paraphrase of Scripture. Father Richard draws from a variety of English translations including the Jerusalem Bible (JB), New American Standard Bible (NASB), New English Translation (NET), J.B. Phillips New Testament (Phillips), Revised Standard Version (RSV), and The Message. Guest writers may use their own preferred biblical translations. CAC practice is to reference chapter and verse for scriptural sources, but not to identify precise translations. Various versions of the Bible can be found and searched at, and The New Jerusalem Bible is available at

Print icon example With Images: Use the print icon to the left of your screen on the particular Daily Meditation that you would like to print. This will open a "Print Preview" page within your web browser and you can select your personal print settings and print.

Without Images: Copy the text and paste it into a Word, Wordpad, Notepad document, or a similar program, print the meditation from the program.

*Note: When using Word, you will need to delete the images before printing.

Images used in Richard Rohr's Daily Meditations are for illustrative purposes only; image credits are provided for copyright purposes and/or as a courtesy to the original creators for use of the work. The images do not reflect the CAC's or Fr. Richard's agreement with, or promotion of, the views of those who create the images.

You may be subscribed at multiple email addresses. Check the To: address of the emails. Use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email to stop emails from being sent to that address.

If you find the addresses are the same, our email service sends emails out in batches. On occasion, the batch is interrupted and sending must begin again—not always from where it left off. At this time, there is nothing we can do to ensure you receive only one email from us, short of unsubscribing from our list(s) and signing up again under a new email address.
