Requests

Thank you for your interest in working with Fr. Richard Rohr.

Fr. Richard is humbled and honored that people all over the world want to connect and go deeper with his work. Even after officially retiring from full-time ministry and significantly reducing his travel, he continued to teach widely. As interest has increased, Fr. Richard is unable to meet the many requests for his time. While he has loved interacting with so many people over the years, Fr. Richard is entering into an intentionally different lifestyle in his later years which will allow him to be more contemplative. Frankly, this means he will be less accessible.

To protect Fr. Richard’s foundational hermit-like existence, as well as his reduced energy and bodily strength, we ask that the following protocols be followed (even by those whom he considers dear friends):

If you are planning a visit to Albuquerque, we invite you to stop by our Visitor Center, open weekdays to the public. If you hope to connect with Richard for a brief moment while you’re here, please contact the assistant to the faculty, Jenna Bourland, at [email protected].

If you would like to mail Fr. Richard a letter, please include your email address in the letter so that Richard can easily acknowledge its receipt. Richard receives correspondence with sincere appreciation. Please do not send unsolicited books or manuscripts.

Thank you for your understanding and support of Fr. Richard.
