Presented by Center for Action and Contemplation and faculty member James Finley, this full-day retreat is designed to help us reflect on threshold moments in life and discover God’s grace guiding us through the unresolved matters of our hearts.
Grounded in key themes from James Finley’s memoir, The Healing Path: A Memoir and an Invitation, this special online event will offer guided reflections and moments of stillness to help you become more conscious of the thread of your own sacred journey.

The Healing Path: A Memoir and an Invitation is a contemplative reflection on the spirituality of healing. Grounded in a lifetime of spiritual direction and psychotherapy, as well as his own recovery from traumatic wounds, James offers his personal story as an invitation for readers to move into greater honesty and depth on their own journeys toward healing and wholeness. The Healing Path book is now available at the CAC bookstore! Reading the book is helpful, but not required to participate.
Event Details
Attendees will be invited to slow down and become more present to themselves through retreat activities such as contemplative practices, question and response sessions with James, dialoguing with others, and witnessing the presence of the teacher.
A detailed agenda and event access information will be sent closer to the event date. Participants will need a device with reliable Internet access, such as a smartphone, tablet, or computer to access the online gathering. This event will be recorded. Cost
The cost of attending this online gathering is $175. We believe that finances should not be a barrier to participation. For that reason, we have made two additional price levels available at $131 and $98, or another amount of your choice.
