Welcome Living School Alumna or Alumnus!

Your relationship with the Living School need not end at the Sending Ceremony. We are committed to supporting your contemplative journey far beyond the two-year program, as far as you wish to walk alongside us. It’s often not easy to transition to “normal life” after a transformative immersion like the Living School. You may wonder, “What now?” How do I deepen my awakening to Love in my own context, in my circles of relationships, and continue my commitment to the mystical path? How do I nourish these soul-friendships that have sprung up with people from around the world?

One important way to stay connected is through the Alumni Quarterly. The Quarterly is an electronic magazine for and by alumni with the sole purpose of resourcing your daily lives at the intersection of contemplation and action. Curated by Mark Longhurst (’15), it is a virtual connection point for the global Living School Alumni community and also a dispatch amidst the wider movement of contemplative transformation in which we all play a role. Mark invites submissions according to upcoming themes and also welcomes your life, event, news, and announcement updates, and can be reached at [email protected]. Find the most recent edition here and explore Faculty Reflections from previous issues here. Watch for future issues in your email inbox.

We are so glad to share this infinitely opening way with you.

In blessing,

Tom Eberle, Director of Education Mark Longhurst
