Where can I learn more about men’s spirituality, MROPs, Illuman, and MALES?

Fr. Richard Rohr founded Men as Learners and Elders (M.A.L.Es) in 2002 as a way to support men on their spiritual journey. Since that time, over 5,000 men have participated in the “Journey of Illumination” by attending events such as the Men’s Rite of Passage (MROP), FIRMings and a variety of events throughout nine international regions and 13 U.S. regions. Fr. Richard continues to speak on masculine spirituality, but primarily teaches on non-gendered paths to unitive consciousness. His many talks and writings on men’s spirituality include: Adam’s Return: The Five Promises of Male Initiation; From Wild Man to Wise Man: Reflections on Male Spirituality; Beloved Sons Series: Men and Grief, Men and Power, A Quest for the True Self, How Men Change, and Why Males Need Initiation. In 2012, men’s work transitioned away from CAC, with Fr. Richard’s blessing, to Illuman, a global not for profit organization committed to supporting men who are seeking to deepen their spiritual lives. Learn more about Illuman at illuman.org.

The work of the Center for Action and Contemplation is possible only because of friends and supporters like you!
